...November on Loch Leven, with the Pap of Glencoe wreathed in cloud.
3 shots stitched causing a bow on the horizon.
Lee soft ND grad 0.9
Very hard to notice the stitch work on this stunning classic Scottish scene Dougi ))
Pissing down again today !!!!! water is way up our lawn now and no sighn of dropping at all :-(((((
Scotland at it's best Dougie. Very impressive landscape.
I can feel the chill in the air! Simply gorgeous; so calm and serene, with magnificent reflections.
Looks wonderful in the large version, Dougie.
More really good landscape work
Good stitching work. I wouldn't have guessed. A very nice scene you've captured.
I didn't notice the bow asi thought scotland was formed like that. How come we can only upload one image per day but you manage to get away with three. As they are so good we will let you off.
A cracking image yet again
You have done a good job stitching these Dougie, wouldn't have known if you hadn't said so. The result is an excellent and pleasing picture.
Must look awe inspiring at full size!
Fabulous work. I love the reflection of the Pap..
Another good one, you managed to capture the reflection very well,,
brilliant scene - glad to be the 30th!!
A stunning scene Doug well stitched
Dan I can assure you I only get one a day too.
But cheers for the compliment.
What a stunning view
I like the gentle curve of the shoreline, well captured,
beautiful it would look even better large
A beautiful wide angle view. Once the stitching is done. You could do lens correction on the whole thing is you want a straighter horizon. It may take a while on such a large file though.
I feel like I could just walk into this, Dougie, what a beautiful place, stunning image.
Thanks for all of your support and wonderful comments Dougie
The panotools plug-ins for photoshop have a solution for the distortion problem. Just look up 'panotools lens distortion' in Google and you should fine the appropriate links.
The lighting and composition is first rate on this one. Nicely balanced, I like the use of the foreground here: just enough to provide interest without overwhelming the rest of the shot. Beautiful reflections ... and it's got snow. :o)
Fabulous shot,super reflections.
Excellent needlework! Beautiful light as always. M
Wee dapples of light on the snow, far away tree, strong sky and reflections combine to a great landscape.I'd maybe take a sliver off the bottom which would accentuate the nice S shape of the shore and give a stronger sense of being propelled into the picture.
breath-taking scenery!! Just amazing!
