Dunstanburgh Castle on a very stormy day last year
very effective, good composition and tones in the sky
Very dramatic in monochrome.
Stunning, moody image. Works fabulously in B&W.
Superb drama in this shot, Douglas, enhanced by the B&W effect. All the same, I'd love to see it in colour as well.
Superb capture. As above, works really well in B&W. Well done.
Beautiful shot. Den
Nice bleak atmosphere in this.
An ominous shot.
The B&W treatment makes this into a very dramatic shot Dougie.
Hello Dougie, I have never heard of this castle, where is its location as we have historic albums in Webshots and it would make a good excursion...the sky is very menacing and the silhouetted castle outline features well.
PS we were up high above Kinlochleven today but the light was only blinking and the snow showers would have blown the ears of a donkey.
Hi Doug, it's down in Northumberland Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh Castles are very close near to Lindisfarn, straight down the A1 and watch all the speed cameras.
All the best Dougie
