...at Iona Abbey in the Island of Iona. One of the worlds most sacred places, people travel from all over the globe to this remote island off The Island of Mull on the west coast of Scotland.

I'd love to go there having read the historical novels of Nigel Tranter and being aware of its significance to your country. V. well composed and processed - but then it would be, wouldn't it. Smile

Awwww, it is more than five years since I was there. Longing to go back to this jewel near Mull. Thanks for bringing up these great memories.

Beautiful capture....I love the colours of the path matching the stone of the Abbey. The island has a special feeling. It's a gorgeous area on a summer's day but the last time I was there it was raining so heavily that you could hardly lift your head to see the Abbey....and the ferry ride back took 45 minutes ... scary!!!!
