...reflected in Loch Clair where the reeds are looking extremely good this year.
It was nice to see the mountain with some cloud in the sky.
Excellent reflections and light captured once again Dougie
stunningly beautiful landscape......wonderful water reflection, colours & light exposure
so still .I darent breath
Fabulous shot Dougie, lovely rich colour detail and clarity.
Mightily impressive. Superb composition, excellent colour and f/g detail and beautiful reflections.
There is the impression of a meeting of two worlds: that on the left, varied and verdant (at least at lower levels), that on the right offering only sparse vegetation and barren rocks.
Very impressive. A great composition with wonderful light and reflections, and just the right amount of foreground interest not to distract from the overall image.
You must have been blessed with some exceptional weather, Dougie: lovely shot in every way.
A nice clear day with that wonderful light and reflections Dougie.
The reeds are looking good and the light is creating lots of great contrast on the left side of the frame, you've kept the lower contrast bright area to a minimum on the right which really helps. There's a nice symmetry going on too.
Like your comp and the good light and reflections in this Dougie.
Wonderful light and super detail Dougie! This is how I like to see the Highlands!!
reflections / colour / light / scotland /stunning dougie a smile for you today
Beautiful and so pristine. A stunning image Dougie......Sandy
strikingly beautiful. Why don't you get ripples on the water like the rest of us have to contend with.
The only thing wrong with it is that I'm not there walking.
High pressure Danny, that's why the sky is so clear and blue and so few clouds.
Andy Many Thanks for the UA I've been out for a little while. Well pleased.
I'll give you a shout next time MacroMeister.
A classic Torridon view of the mighty Liathach Dougie. I spent nights sleeping under its serrated brow, with just the deer for company. The last time I was here was about six years ago and change had even managed to force its way down this lonely glen.
What I love here is the foreground hint of life below the water surface - almost like those snorkelling pictures that show above and below the surface. Though this was probably a lot colder...
The surface merges imperceptibly into the weedy loch bed.
Delicate balance and clarity Dougie, making the most of Loch Clair. Last time we were here to climb Liathach you could not see base !!!
Beautiful !!!!....lovely balanced composition !!!!
Oooooo...it's been many years since I stood there....such great memories !!
Beautiful composition and exposure, Dougie. The colour and clarity are truly striking.
Stunning clarity Dougie.
A lovely composition Dougie and the clarity of light is stunning.
Wow Dougie, this is brilliant, in the real sense of the word. What a sharpness, what a brilliance - what a great landscape.
"Loch of the level place" - Loch Clair, I see now where from its name comes.
Like it. Congrats!
I was here a few weeks ago myself and had some stunning weather, picture not to this standard though, this is really something to aspire to!
