...sometimes the light just does what you want it to do. It was shining across half of the loch and backdrop. Even the mountains were getting some needed sunlight.

A wonderful sweep of the land up there, the light perfect and the winter colours beautifully rendered, Dougie: the houses show how small mankind is in the scale of things.
Composition as always so good and those crisp reflections......I could go on and on enthusing.
Ronnie.

You have caught the light so brilliantly. The reflections are wonderful. It is certainly a photograph to sell Scotland to the rest of the world! Ann.

Beautiful reflection. I like the fact that the reeds in the loch make the reflection look as though it is a completely different scene. Hope that makes sense and you know what I mean Grin. Moira

Amazing panoramic image Dougie, as you mentioned the lighting is just about perfect here, sometimes a wee bit of luck with photography helps, as well as a few prayers sometimes. Very well done my friend, hope you are well. Bill.

Superb panorama. So well composed with the patches of reeds in the loch & the patchy light making a lovely image.

So you waited all through dawn till total daylight. Beautiful setting for that cottage, everything one needs to be happy there... the mountains are gorgeous, the loch clear, lots of open space, some trees... and sure somewhere were some sheep, too. Smile
Great panorama,
Johanna
