Excellent, I love the one dot of white of the cottage under a glowering sky.

A landscape made for mono, I suspect. At least at this time of year.

A dark and grey mood, suiting the mono image. Exactly how I imagine South Uist. Beautiful sky.

Road to the highlands Douigie, with a restful stop along the way. Mono suites.

This makes a great mono Dougie! Unmistakably on one of the Uists - that wonderful landscape! Smile

Lovely composition, I remember the colour version although it's the track, the cottage and the two expanses of water that stick in the mind.
Now I am trying hard not to imagine the scene in driving snow . . . .

Bill

Certainly an isolated house and the moody mono makes it feel more so

A splendid conversion to Mono Dougie mind you I would expect nothing less from you. I may have cropped it to just below the lake on the right but then I would probably be wrong...

Makes you want to aim for the cottage and perhaps some respite from the encroaching weather Dougie. I was trying out a few monochrome's last night but I need a little more practice first before thet'd look anywhere near yours!

Looks quite dark and forbidding. Ready for a big storm. Moira

Love this typical S Uist landscape, great in mono. Enjoyed fishing the lochs here for sea trout many years ago - must get back with camera....
