I've nothing to add to your own words, Dougie.

Nor I, except to mention the stirring composition.

An arrow pointing to the sky but firmly rooted in the soil.

A serious sky complementing the seriousness of the occasion, Dougie.

A lovely peacefulness about this, even with the stormy sky. A very fine tribute.

Beautiful composition and a suitably moody sky Dougie; excellent!
The reason I posted those 7 images in one go is that I have more images than time to spent at the computer at the moment Smile

A totally appropriate image for Remembrance Sunday and a memorial from a far off part of the land.
A day when I cast my mind back and do very little else other than thank God I was never tested as so many have been to the point of ultimate sacrifice.

A well taken image, the red poppies and the green reeling make a nice eyecatcher. Beautiful tribute.
