Beautiful clarity Doug well done on your HC.
Crisp and bright. Congrats on the HC
beautiful Dougie - love the marbled effect of the sky and its reflection
Fantastic conditions. The kind I dream of when I am driving up the A82 but only occasionally as good as this....... usually during the week while I'm at work!!
Nice work Doug.
A fine image indeed Doug. Wonderful landscape.
Well Dougie, I searched through all the comments and I can't find any reference as to where this is ..... Rannoch Moor perhaps? It certainly had me running for my woollie socks and thermal kn....rs. Great clarity and outstanding colours .... you are a great promoter of all that is beautiful in Scotland.
Often photographed, but this is excellent, - great sky.
oh I miss winter already..........
I hope we have this to look forward to this winter. Especially since I can enjoy it from a place that does not get snow!
We seem to quickly heading in that direction here too Patrick, I hope we see more snow this year, we don't need a blanket over the entire country.
maybe Dougie just maybe....It's a beautiful photo a really pleasing scene and an HC to boot
A fantastic perspective and a scene that plucks at the heartstrings.
I'll share your dreams of winters of the past.

The dales are nice but you've got some real majestic stuff to play with up there Dougie - that sky is special.
did you try a mono conversion of this? taking the blue channel down to about -10% will make those clouds look spooky as hell!
Landscape photography at it's finest! Well done, Dougie.
