An Teallach ridge in the Scottish Highlands taken from way down the Glen at the reservoir. I felt that the ridge still dominated the landscape...

Excellent shot Dougie - love the way the distant ridge is framed by the trees.

Superb shot, great composition and fantastic atmosphere. One of my very favorite places.
I did't know you worked at the Herald, Douglas. I met your colleague Keith Bruce at the Proms last week. Hope you thought the photo was OK.

A nice shot Doug. An Teallach and the surrounding area is lovely and a favourite of mine. This is from the end of Loch Droma if I am not mistaken. There is a small layby near the other side of the loch which is worth a stop and a walk to the lochside next time you return. My uploads, 'Winters grasp' and 'Loch Droma' are from there. This is a great place to stop when the view is clear all the way to An Teallach. Unfortunately I was not so lucky.
