An Teallach ridge in the Scottish Highlands taken from way down the Glen at the reservoir. I felt that the ridge still dominated the landscape...
Lovely landscape :o)
Excellent shot Dougie - love the way the distant ridge is framed by the trees.
nice one good colour and depth well done.
Very nicely framed and composed. Great sky and colours. Shame the distand hills are in shadow.
Gorgeous uncluttered landscape, beautiful colours and a perfect sky. Well done.
Great shot, like the shadows on the hills in the background.
Wonderful light and shadow. Large version is stunning
Great Shot Douglas
Very well composed with a great sense of distance. Fresh natural colours ..Looks fresh from the lens. Click Dave M
Cheers to all for the comments
Great landscape and as already said great sence of distance
Well composed, great colours.
Superb shot, great composition and fantastic atmosphere. One of my very favorite places.
I did't know you worked at the Herald, Douglas. I met your colleague Keith Bruce at the Proms last week. Hope you thought the photo was OK.
Lovely ladscape. Great shot.
It was fine Simon but I really do enjoy your landscape work very much indeed.
All the best
Great image Dougie, has a 3D feel to it.
Nice one Doug, though I would have liked to see a bit more detail pulled from the hillon the left. lovely though
Beautiful shot ..the dof and colours are spot on..Like the angle and F/G intrest with the trees..
A nice shot Doug. An Teallach and the surrounding area is lovely and a favourite of mine. This is from the end of Loch Droma if I am not mistaken. There is a small layby near the other side of the loch which is worth a stop and a walk to the lochside next time you return. My uploads, 'Winters grasp' and 'Loch Droma' are from there. This is a great place to stop when the view is clear all the way to An Teallach. Unfortunately I was not so lucky.
