Ardvreck Castle as the mist falls over the cliff into Loch Assynt
Glorious shot. The larger image has to be opened to appreciate it.

Mists + mountains + castles = a big CLICK from me
Love the way the mist looks like a wave falling over the distant hills. Magical .
love the light, composition and the cloud in the background to add atmosphere, click
Just fantastic, love the silhouette against the mist with just a hint of mountain in the back, gorgeous.
Good shot Dougie, dramatic looking silhoutte with the back light. The mist coming down the side of the hill onto the loch is just brilliant, really adds to the image and makes it something a bit more special. Well done and oh its a RC.. Always good to award these Thanks for the kind comments you left of my Cuillin View shot, its always good to get a positive and sincere comment. Especially in such a cynical world.. I am glad you like my shots and think I have improved a fair bit, there is so much to learn but I guess that will always be the case. I find the secret is to analyse all the duff shots and work out why they are duff, then move on and try again.
Thankyou very much.
PS you are right Skye is a great place for photography, I was as the Sligachan hotel which I know you are familiar with looking at some of your uploads. I even got a few shots of the old bridge!
pps where is Ardvrek castle btw?
Ardvreck Castle is on Loch Assynt, on the Lochinver road in Assynt, Wester Ross
Cheers Dougie, Im planning a Torridon trip in June so will definately check it out...
