Nice tones along with sharp reflections. Looks like a nice tranquil spot to just sit and think! PattiSmile

At first, an excellent graphic composition. But then that dark and blurry background turns it into something else, adds an almost dreamlike feel... a sense of mystery.

The light on the reeds is special Dougie. Lovely detail in the reflections.

A fine shot Dougie.
And a happy St Andrews day to you.
I was at the British Legion Club on Thursday for our St Andrews Day ''lunch''.
Had chicken stuffed with haggis.
Sounds rather disgusting, but it was really rather nice !!
Mick.

A favourite place of mine when I was up there a couple of years ago Dougie. Superbly tranquil shot, like the slight suggestion of a ripple it enhances the perfection of the reflection.

Perfect use of the shallow dof to smooth the texture of the b/g in contrast with the sharpness of the reeds.
We never imagine reeds as sharp - until we cut our fingers to the bone on a leafBlush

Great use of the reeds in this unusual composition Dougie. Few would have thought of this.
