So much to see in this image, Dougie: shapes, details, colours, reflections; or we can sit back and enjoy the lot!
Regards
Bill

I really like the prominent use of the reeds in the foreground Dougie. Apart from providing interest they provide a lead through to the treeline.

Another fine shot Dougie.
And thank you for your acceptance speech for your ''award''.
However,I doubt even that toilet paper called the Sun,
would bother to print it !!

A lovely calming fall scene. I also like the focus on the reeds in the foreground, and the way they lead through to the treeline. The dark reflections from the distant hill and treeline have given those reeds a nice background making them nicely visible. A very nice exposure.

I think I actually prefer this one to the earlier version.
Superbly well cropped.

Really beautiful Dougie. I like the way the curve of the reeds leads the eye to those beautiful trees and their reflection.

A fine, deep and detailed image, Dougie. I particularly like the way the autumn foliage on that end tree helps to provide a punctuation mark on that side of the frame.

Yes i agree with Ian above. The shape and colour of those 2 trees on the left hand side of the frame are important in making this composition work, Dougie.
