...on the left with the Beinn na Caillich ridge and their reflections across the entrance to Loch Slapin on the Isle of Skye.
4x frames stitched to form this image.
Simply wonderful reflections, Dougie. And what a great context for them.
One plain one pearl but be careful you don't drop a stitch......The wok of a master. Excellent Dougie.
Very dynamic attention-grabbing composition.
Interesting. The pebble 'causeway' on the left connects us to the distant view, gives a path from here to there.
Belting comp and reflections dougie a cracker nice one
These are new peaks for me, Dougie, as I have never heard these names before: so must hasten next to Google Maps as I like to know exactly where places are.........well you already know what a nosey b - - - - - I am!
And you have stitched these images quite seamlessly.
Love the amount of detail under the near surface, and of course your composition is as ever so well considered, here my eye sweeping round the shoreline to the far side.
The watery winter colouring is lovely as are the reflections.
What it must be to live in that house far left with all this laid out to drink in every day (weather permitting).
Been to GM and found almost the exact spot you must have been at.
Beautifully captured and processed panoramic with an incredible calming feel to the image Dougie.
A fine shot Dougie.
And my neighbour went to the Isle of Skye recently with a bunch of his mates.
No wifes were there and they had their golf clubs with them for a ''golfing trip''.
Is there a golf course there or is he telling porkies ?
There's a golf course at Sconser which is between the Broadford and Sligachan Mick.
Great interest from front to back, nice one.
Wonderful clarity in the water. A beautiful image Dougie.
Great light and clarity in this beautiful landscape Dougie.
A marvellous panorama - beautifully taken Dougie.
Mirror image Dougie
Not for nothing Scotland is God's country, Dougie. It doesn't come much better than this, my friend. And you have more than done this vista justice with your stitching skills. The rocky causeway on the left connecting us to the distant mountains, as Moira pointed out.
Like the clarity and good sky and reflection too Dougie

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. I could imagine the cottage in the centre, on the other side of the water being my home. Yes, I really could.
Wonderful reflections Dougie! You've got three, and I have only one
