I don't recall ever seeing a section of rainbow occupying such a large area of the frame, Dougie; it's almost as if the distant mountainside is painted in the spectrum, and contrasting so well with the shadowed f/g where that house gives such an appreciation of scale.
Ronnie.
Awesome, awesome, awesome!
This image is almost frightening - these mountains looks so big compared to the cottage at their feet. You are very fortunate Dougie, only a few people can tell that they have been looking through a rainbow!

Looking across to the crock of golden light . . . Super composition, superhuman scale . . .

A great atmospheric image Dougie. I always wanted to climb this one but never got round to it. Maybe now that I have retired.....

I have never seen a photo taken througha rainbow before, Dougie. What a fascinating effect it gives, and a perfect background to boot!

Wow, as Ronnie says don't think I have ever seen a rainbow so dominant in an image...magic stuff.
Light on this is amazing, excellent capture Dougie.
