A fine shot of a fine mountain.
I don't know this mountain at all. It looks a really interesting multi faceted collection of peaks. I must get up there this summer.
Simon.

So wonderfully evocative of a typical Scottish landscape, Douglas. I wonder how it would look with a little sky cropped away from the top.

Hello Dougie, I would have guessed that you have taken your 5700 out of it's case for this shot...the loch and island feature well in the colour department and the sky has lovely cloud formation, the down side of that is the mountain detail suffers in the shadows. Well done though my friend, one of the best shots I have seen from you yet. Must get some work done now. Have a good week.
Doug.

Shadows look fine to me on this screen Dougie. It's a fantastic scene and you've captured the essence of the Scottish mountain scenery with this one. Rugged scenery, fleeting light and mean looking clouds! Smile

Thanks to all for the comments good, bad. and ugly. The great thing about photography is that "It's all in the minds eye" and should be treated as such. As I have said before it's the best hobby in the World, I have been lucky enough to have made my hobby my work, and still enjoy it. Some people in their wisdom make it a chore and then it is less pleasant.
Enough of this.
All the best to everyone at EPZ

Super image Douggie. The mountains are so crisp and clear, and the clouds add that extra feeling.

Hi Dougie. This looks lovely. I am not sure if I have seen this area. Been up "that way" ie Achiltibuie area. You have done a nice job of this.

ps - you are right, she is smaller than expected.
