...had a short run down along the River Clyde, nice day with winter contrasty light. I was shooting splashes at a tiny natural harbour when this happened.
***Cropped from just more than half of the whole image.***
What a wonderful light. This is like whale watching.
Longing for a lonely coast...
A short run?!!.... I fervently hope, Dougie, that you speak figuratively.
Lovely light on this, and an interesting sight to see.
P.S. I get the Turner, but I'm buggered if I can find that pint of Guinness!
Amazing what can happen right in front of your eyes Dougie.
I saw two seals pop their heads up in Leith docks once.
Never been know for them to come in that far.
The time I got my camera ready though,
they disappeared under the water.
A well lit shot.
Beautifully captured Dougie...
Well timed and composed.
There she blows...
Really rather intriguing.
That was worth the trip alone
a lovely seascape Dougie
A pleasant waterside wander interrupted by a sudden delight: what more could one wish for on a fine winter's day?
Well timed Dougie, some good light on the foreground rocks too
Well timed capture dougie brilliant light a cracker nice one
Aptly titled and nicely timed. I do like the square crop here.
Right place, right time... and the great light at that time of day really makes all the difference.
Not the largest blowhole, but well spotted and captured
