Beautiful image, just as i remember that part of the canal when seen from a narrow boat one holiday. Love the reflections and the minimal amount of colours making it a stunner for me.

A location I used to visit frequently when I lived in Fort William back in the 70s but I never got a shot like this. The composition and the tones are really beautiful and the exposure well controlled in tricky conditions. A beautiful landscape.

my back is getting there slowly my friend, cheers for the 30th and the comment, this you might be surprised to know was taken at 11.58am on Christmas Eve. The light was clamped down by the cloud level. It did clear for a while on the way back down thru Glencoe as Trekpete shows from his great shot on the top of a mountain.
