...well used by the locals and holidaymakers, the footprints are left in to let you see how busy it can be here on the edge of the Atlantic. This is on Benbecula the central island of the 3 main ones forming the Uists Chain.

Sweeping image giving a great sense of the expansiveness of the Hebridean coastline, Dougie. Spent a few months living on the west coast of North Uist years back and enjoyed a daily walk along such a beach; hardly ever saw a person when I was out.

Made fo pano. The way the diagonal of the cut-off dunes leads into the curve of the water line...

What a sky and what a view Dougie. Great to see a beach without a single person on it.
Thanks for looking at the weather - I generally check the BBC site, but had a look at the met office - like that forecast much better TongueGrin. Can feel the excitement bubbling up - am such a kid. Off to get the car filled and check the tyre pressures now. Moira

Excellent view. It has everything needed for a great pano. Sense of space, Beautiful sweeping lines, impressive skies. Not to mention a photographer who knows exactly how to get the best out of it.
