Reminds me of the Father Ted scene 'Small - far away...'
I like the way you have made the foreground grasses so much more important than that insignificant little pimple in the background.
The house has the view of both worlds.

We wole up today to the first real hoar frost on the grass and trees. Will be out tomorrow if the sun come through as it did for you here, Dougie. We had thick fog as an accompaniment today, unfortunately.

I like the perspective...the mighty mountain reduced almost ti insignificance by the grasses...the house providing a sense of scale.

Whilst they are not competing in fact i think they complement each other...that is the four points of interest on North, South. East And west.

Your composition is really nice here Dougie with the foreground grabbing the viewer and the reeds leading the eye up to the the Loch and then the distant mountains. Beautiful light and colour as well. Outstanding.

Winter is well on the way. Like all the frost in the fg and that snowy peak in the bg. Beautiful as always. Moira
