...a different set of falls down Glen Etive, the kayakers are always down here when there's been rain to fill the rivers.
Played around with this trying to calm the high contrast, high angle sun, tell me if it looks wrong please, I'm still not sure.

Good morning, Neighbour.
Another fine composition under such desirable conditions and from a fine bit of the land, Dougie: the combination of winter colours, snow on the tops and sunshine all contribute to enhancing an already carefully composed shot.
Ronnie.
I agree with Ronnie here Dougie, I know this area well and the problems you have to overcome with the lighting at certain times of the day here, You have captured and presented this scene perfectly, I wish I was back there now, Very well done my friend, Bill.
The thought of tackling that in a kayak is truly terrifying, Dougie.
The image looks fine to me; it rather suggests an imminent and brutal change in the weather.
Regards
Bill
That looks like a bumpy ride, I think I'd prefer a hovercraft!
The light looks natural, unforced. Which I regard as a compliment.
Moira
The snow and and lack of strong colours tells us that this is too early in the year for that tempting looking water to be anything other than extremely cold, Dougie. A very natural look to this, as Moira pointed out. Moving, frothy water like this always seems to look as if it has suffered from oversharpening, I feel, even though it isn't the case.
Malc
looks very good to me Dougie, I am not the best person for techie knowledge but I do know what I like and enjoy - good one
Lovely composition, Dougie. It was raining hard when I got there but i captured the Kayakers going over the falls. Will post asap. You've done a grand job, Dougie. The shadows seem a bit bloccked but then in harsh light that's inevitable.

That's what it is, Thanks for that I could;t see the woods for the trees.
Beautiful peaty water, nicely captured. The detail in those rocks are lovely as is the whole landscape.
