Never having been there I have no idea where you might be positioned for this fine portrait landscape, Dougie: can't help feeling it may have been a 'green welly'Wink day.
Beautifully crafted image from this historic and scenic Glen.

Sumptuous tones in the water, a fine base for the paler tones that seem to arise from it and to which the eye is guided by river banks and mini-islets.
I yearn for a sky like that, but we're back to damp grey today . . .

Bill

Acres of texture, leading up to the landscape cameo on the horizon. And then that sky... Great use of portrait format, you use it well -there's that seamless narrative running up and down the frame.
My country solicitor was an 'interpreter' at Beamish Museum on his lunch break by the way. Relaxing in between showing visitors round the period houses.

Beautiful scene with that gorgeous sky Dougie. Have you gone up over Ben Lawers and down to Killin? Just wondering, as was just having a read about Glen Lyon. Moira

I've driven around the road I'f that's what you mean. It's not the most exciting road, sadly.

Water, blue sky, white clouds and green hills, can you wish for more?
Lovely composition with those wee islands in the water stream,
Johanna
