...in the trees in Pollock House Park, Glasgow. I messed up an image along the river here the last visit and went back to get it right.
This is for my good friend RonnieAG who reintroduced me to this wonderful haven in the city of Glasgow. Thanks Ronnie.

Thanks for that, Dougie. You have succeeded so nicely in capturing this shot, one I have been trying to take for years but have never been satisfied with and always ended up binning the results. You have captured the sunlit beeches and the dark river below just perfectly.
Ronnie.

You have really seized the moment here, Dougie. The juxtaposition of gold and brown draws the eye inexorably to the line of ripples in the water.

The canopy is nature's own 81a warm up filter - the light quality is exquisite here.

Like the backlit leaves and their shadow on the water. Must get myself down there sometime.

Love this shot taken from the darkness - into the light. The autumn lighting and colours captured here are super. My weekly award placed here is in acknowledgment of this … together with the many other excellent pieces of work I‘ve missed in the past Dougie following a look through your past work uploaded here.

All top draw stuff and a real pleasure to view.

Dave.
