The Pap of Glencoe guards the entrance to Kinlochleven further up the Loch

Lovely photo....I live so close to Glencoe but I can't get over to shoot it because of the Ferry times in winter! Arhhhhhh :-(

Beautiful shot Dougie. Great reflections.
Hello Dougie, great symetry from those mountains which which were so brilliant on the morning...the part blue and part grey sky with their varying tones feature well in your shot, above and reflected. Good work.
amazing how slim pickings make you look closer at the shots you take. I was surprised that this looked the way it does.
All the best

all the best
I think you were about to take this shot as we passed you by the other weekend Dougie. Lovely shot and great reflections.
Yes I have put a similar shot on another site
You have captured a brilliant light here Dougie...although picturesque I find the Pap isn't best situated for light. But the light on the opposite bank, the smooth tones and of course the mirror reflection all make up one of the best I've seen...certainly better than the one Colin Prior has in his calendar and book.
absolutely stunning -the light and colours esp. are gorgeous
