...a flat loch and a cloudy sky resulted in this reflection at Ballachulish, on a wonderful Easter Sunday morning.
Lovely atmosphere in this shot........ Paul
Dramatic image Dougie. Great sky and I love the way the light behind the mountains almost throws them into silhouette.
Such a beautiful view, a great start to a day
Beautiful atmosphere captured Doug.
Like the reflections and tones in this Dougie - great scene -well captured.
Perfect reflections, very calm and soothing.
Had a lie in Dougie? hat a cracker you show us to day...mean and moody unlike your normal offering but just as good and professional.
Moody magnificence Doug. Ron.
you got a fresh sky dougie, I like the way the mist on the left side is highlighted by the sun, superb
Such a mixture of lighting conditions here. Nicely composed and well exposed image.
Where about on the loch was this taken ?
The Isles Hotel Bruce, it's with the 16mm.
Fabulous, mysterious light and reflections.
Full of mood, and beautifully composed. A real tour-de-force and the sort of thing that really should be getting a PA. Except that it isn't anywhere near processed enough.
One of your very best, Doug.
Wonderful, wonderful - perhaps a mite sombre in the thumbnail but reveals its true glory when revealed Large. The broken reflection in the centre is stunning, as is the sky.
Beautiful image...Awesome atmosphere, with its dramatic sky and reflections. Really lovely....Sandy
Magnificent mood and drama - a real work of art, Dougie.
Love the tone and mood. Sylvia
Beautiful image, fabulous tones and light.
Love the drama from the lighting Doug
Cracking light Doug, great atmosphere and drama
1st class camera work, Dougie!!!!!!
The large version sings and it makes my heart ache to look at it.
Wow such a wonderful piece of work Dougie
Lovely feel to this Doug. The reflections are just magic. John
Amazing Dougie, will be there in 15 days and staying in a B&B in Ballachulish. I can only hope to get something as great as this.

A superb dreamscape....who would want to go anywhere else?Marie
This is so beautiful Dougie, amazing reflection and hanging mist, I was staying right by the loch a while back, a wonderful place. Best landscape i've seen this week so has to have my award.
Thanks Mari, very special coming from you. Cheers my friend.
I know and love this view of Loch Leven. Inspirational and unpretentious. This one gets my very first award presentation.
That's very kind Bob, many thanks.
One of the best landscape reflection photos I've ever seen, simply magical - Jonathan
