...another from this wonderful Loch on the way to Glencoe, just tucked away out of sight from the main A82.

Quality piece of work, like this very much.
great colours and composition
Ohhhhhhhhhhh, wow! Did you ever get in touch with some calendar making editors, Dougie? I always have an Scottish calendar at home, but I think I have never seen one with pics of this quality. I am going to recommend you to every one in Germany that crosses my path. This is the least I can do. But I am afraid I do not know many!
Another beauty Dougie.
Love the sky.
Have a good weekend
Your images have a wonderful clarity to them Dougie.
Fantastic landscape Doug. Ron.

A wonderful landscape. Knew it was yours.
Magic lighting on those trees at the left Dougie.
Spotted this as yours straight from the thumb, a certain quality to it my friend. Lovely.
Lots off smashing details in the sky

Lovely Dougie. Quality as always.
I'm on my way to Glencoe after work for the weekend. I hope the light & conditions are as good as this.

It must be your birthday Dougie, congrats on your EC.
It's a beauty, even better than the last, congrats on the EC,
Now there is a thing, I hadn't noticed it appeared unannounced. It's not my birthday either.
Cheers again Pete, I'll try to stay off your back, for the moment anyway.
Very well done Dougie...
Its a beauty Dougie I like the colours to the shot, the light was a blessing on the day captured, good height in the scene and reflections. Well done on the awards
Cheers Kin, keep forgetting about early Friday, I was calibrating the monitor, it's been bleeping for 2 days.
Big surprise to me all this, nice of course, and we all like a slap on the back now and again.
What's the WE got in store for you?
All the very best
More work then d.i.y. too Dougie....but then nobody said it was an easy life
way hey - a well deserved EC old boy!
those skies up there really add to the shot, but it's the super refelction of the trees, the light on teh whisps of grass poking theough the water and the depth of the shot that does it for me
yep! Well done indeed!
Cheers my friend, honour indeed from the master. The McFade technique is way beyond my head.
Well done Dougie a much deserved award for a stunner of a shot, the colours are so vibrant and comp spot on
Cheers MAri, many thanks.
totally lovely image
I like the way the loch banks and narrow strip of water lead the eye to that distant peak behind the trees Dougie.
Looked back at this , well done on the EC.

Well done Doug, another very well crafted image.
When did you actually shoot this frame? I ask as the clouds look almost identical to when I was their earlier this month shooting nearby Ben Dorain...
Super shot by the way...
Early 2006, I can find the original date if you like, certainly not this month. Sorry, ut they do appear every now and again.
nice landscape love it Brian
Stunning work Dougie.
I love the grasses growing in the loch alongside the reflections of the darker green trees ... it's beautiful...a really peaceful scene. Congratulations on the award ... hooray!
This is such a fantastic spot. Nice to see you got down and dirty and didn't just clone out the cables. From this position there is a wonderful tree, just the other side of the road, which a local photographer pointed out to us while we were viewing this scene. At the time it was sitting above a wisp of mist or low cloud . Maybe that photographer was you!!
I was standing a few yards in front of the 2 trees one of which has been damaged by high winds? The telephone cables are yet another stupid placing by the utility companies of this country.
You do have to go down into the area behind the deer fence, cross the 3 small streams and watch you don't break an ankle on the tussock grass.
This was taken in February 2006, hope that all helps Tony.
All the very best
A fantastic shot, Dougie. One of those images that speak volumes on what landscape photography is all about. Many congratulations.
