...taken just two days ago on a wonderful day on the west of Scotland, the water on Lochan na h'Achlaise was almost flat like a mirror, no clouds sadly but that's high pressure for you.

Clouds or not its still a beautiful image. Can't think of anywhere I'd rather be on a sunny day then the West coast of Scotland.

Nicely done Dougie, I quite like that con trail reflection too as you've managed to keep some separation between it and the fg rocks.

So coldly beautiful. Monday was the best day's light we've had for ages, combined with the still air it's given you something special.
I'm seeing a separate, abstract, totally different image in the lower part of the frame - crop to a little above the shoreline. Well it works for me.

This has to be one of my favourites of yours Dougie, such amazing clarity and colour and just goes to show that on blue sky days, there are still fantastic images to be taken Smile

Really like this one. Works very well without clouds, sometimes no clouds add to a picture (adding a feeling a stillness and clarity) and I think this is the case here.

Well thank you all, just in after seeing my pal in Killin for the day. Many Thanks to Ann Paul and Ronnie for you UA awards, I'm really pleased that my new toy has impressed with it's clarity. One up for Fuji, now what do I do with my Canon 1Ds ?

The Fuji is about a 10th of the weight of the 1Ds.
