That's more like it. I looked at Wednesday's, wanted simplicity, couldn't quite work out how to crop. This is perfect. A little floating world.

Oh yes, I think I can hear the sound (melody) of this waveform. Would look wonderful in big on the wall of a sound-studio. Smile

Simple? I think there's quite a lot going on here...very carefully proportioned and composed, with the spreading ripples and reflected lead-in lines all taking us to the centre. Your waveform fizzes on its axis, crucially hanging just outside, creating a tension that enables movement. The reflection itself suggests an immensity, with the reeds being drawn slowly towards some imagined galactic centre.

It also reminds me of the high-speed capture of a speeding bullet....

Picking out a small feature within the bigger picture can so often make for such attractive images and effects, as this shot of your's shows.

I don't need to know what it means Dougie - it's just a beautiful image with great light on the reeds.

It is too early in the day Dougie for my brain to take in the technicalities of waveform.
Besides, you do not make it clear if you mean composite waveforms or a combination
of other sinusoidal waveforms added together ?
A good shot.
But please be more specific in your narratives in future !!
Mick.

This is a fascinating abstract Dougie - and very pleasingly composed. Love the bokeh and the limited colour palette.

Lovely light and a really well-composed image which is more than the sum of its parts, if you know what I mean.

The bokeh is like an explosion surrounding the grasses, a shock wave.
A marvellous use of the light, you have worked out the viewpoint creatively.

Very nice Dougie. A photographer's eye evident in this image. Something beautiful created from the play of light on a ordinary scene.

Many Thanks Paul, I'm beginning to get my head around the different focusing and viewfinder systems,a huge difference from the Canon system we're both used to.

Thanks Again.

Dougie
