A beautiful shot - with sun and shadows plus the cloud on the hills

Good dramatic shot of a wild and mysterious place.

Hello Dougie, you have captured an element of colour magic in this scene with the light hitting the rock face and snowy crags which I must say are very sharp in this exposure...such an interesting multi coloured sky with a good atmospheric feel typifying the Scottish weather. Nice work and have a good weekend.
Doug.

Morning Doug, just getting a fix of EPZ before going to work in a minute. What a good photo to look at - now I will think of this image every time I have a mad moment at work and imagine I am here at the storr instead.!

This one is best seen at the large size. It's a place I'd love to visit some day. Nice mix of light, shade and cloud on this. Very atmospheric.

All the best.

Great shot - how did you manage to get a sunny day? I've got a shot like this but taken from the road on the wettest miserable summer's day you could imagine - at least the food in the Three Chimney's was worth the trip!
