...the sound of a small engine filled the air as I stood waiting for some light on the Cuillin, took me a while to spot this tiny boat, I was looking in the sky for a plane, he was fishing as he bounced along and a Cormorant was watching from the tiny island.

That human detail is so tiny in the landscape, but he seems to be engaged in a race with two speeding islands.

How insignificant man is when seen in this context, Dougie.
So effective this is in mono. I feel it accentuates the minuteness of the man in the boat in front of the mountains.
