Like the sweep of the clouds in this one Dougie. Was this taken from the Crow Road?

Have to congratulate you Dougie on this sky, it has a good balance of colours which feature well having the lions share of your scene...the foreground grasses I feel have fallen victim to the focus problem that so many with this model of camera complain about...overall the light and shadow balance is commendable although the landscape detail is a little distant for detail impact. Speak to you later my friend.

I agree that the details are a little too far away, but the light and atmosphere are great in this one.

Patrick
this was shot expressly for the sky, which at the time was huge. With the 12mm I was pointing the camera up in the air. The hill itself is pretty barren of boulders flowers, or anything to make an FG for this reason "Huge Sky". hope you see my point.
All the best
Dougie

Lovely shot. I think the criticism is totaly undeserved.
I lived in Strathblane for a while before moving down here, this road from Lennoxtown was on my desert island bike ride. A stunning view over the Trossachs unfolds as you decend into Fintry then along beautiful lanes to Killern, aahh!

Simon.

You are a very brave man making comments like that, and for riding the lanes around the area. Your work is very good Simon, your comments are appreciated.
