...Bein na Caillish with Bein na Cro to the left, all three reflected in the still water of Loch Slapen just as the tide was turning.

A few hundred yards further around the loch from my last shot from here.

I miss not seeing the date taken for shots like this. I'm wondering if this is now or earlier. It does look fall with the yellow leaves in the water. Beautiful golden tones and nice interest with the boaters.

Sandy this was a few short weeks ago, the yellows are seaweed and not fall leaves.
Hope this helps.

A perfect surface to capture the mountains twice over, Dougie: the rocks and floating seaweed yellows make for an attractive f/g feature and don't the boaters have a perfect day for a sail or whatever they are doing ( fishing ?).
Ronnie.

That characteristic seaweed always adds brightness and colour in the landscape. What a fine still day with marvellous reflections captured here Dougie. Just beautiful!

The mountains and lochside with their reflections appear to be floating serenely in space. As Chant says, . . . . .

A stunning vista, and one crammed with immense beauty and char,m. The crystal clear reflection on the lake instantly bring the composition alive with both beauty and wonderment. Superb Photography Dougie...

It's good to see something different... everybody always photographs the Black Cuillin.
I suspect that perfectly still reflection might not be too common a sight.
