...down the sound of Canna.I was on the way back to Elgol and I always stop at the top of the hill to drink in the view to the west. For the sharp eyed there's a yacht on the horizon near the centre of the Sound, it's tiny I warn you.

I could park up there and happily drink in that scene for hours, watching the changing light and colours: what I like here is the watery cool tones overall with just a narrow band of warmth along the horizon, as well as the sunrays.
Ronnie.

Lovely, minimalist, a symphony in one movement.

All about light. And peace. The diagonal rays hitting the perfect horizontals of light on water.

I see something about a third of the way in on the horizon at the right Dougie,
but dunno if this is your yacht.
Good light.
Good shot.
Mick.

Mystical, powerful, fascinating.
Who needs photoshop when Nature gives us a scene like this.
That sliver of light coming in from the left, interrupted by the darkness of the mountains that dip right down to the the sea, and emerging again above the horizon.
Would love to see this enlarged on a wall, Dougie.

Malc it may end there, I'm quite fond of it myself, I have another from that night on the top of the road.
Coming soon to a screen near you.

Stunning. Absolutely stunning.
The wee bit of colour on the horizon makes it for me. It seems to say: "There is always hope..."
