...been away playing with a new toy Sony RX100 M2 so light and pocketable but full of quality and a good lens. This is Loch Achray from the north side.

Been off site for a while needed a break from the routine.

Almost mesmerising. Many and subtle gradations of tone in the reflections; superb monochrome too.

Another new toy???
The reflections are almost like oil swirling on water, I love the way that gently rounded ripples create those very hard black squiggly lines.

Excellent and mesmerizing.
I am fast becoming a fan of the small cameras, they certainly do a fantastic job, while being so much more portable. this is a great example of their capabilities.

When I crop off the trees it reminds me of the blue food colouring I sometimes put in my pond. It looks like this when I first put it in.

A good squiggle takes a lot of beating ( as does a good modern pocketable compact! )
and as Bill says, this is almost mesmerising. My kind of photo, this.

Well Bill my first award with the tiny Sony, Many Thanks indeed, I was well pleased when I saw it and even more so when it was processed.
It's so small you have to hold it well, I have a grip ordered which will make it easier.

Thanks Again.
Dougie
