All the natural lines on river bank and in the clouds carry the eye into the distance beyond the tree and makes one question what's round the bend: knowing the area quite well, I have a pretty good idea though, Dougie.
The large boulder in the river bed finishes off the composition very nicely.
Glad you managed to find a bit of sunlit countryside, quite an achievement this summer.

The way the river winds out of sight is inviting, draws the eye in. I do wish the split of the bottom edge wasn't so 50/50, that's my only quibble on a delightful scene.

A beautiful image and agree with Moira would prefer to spend the day there than here at work ! Needs must !Hope to be going to Amulree on Saturday.(my own new computer is away at hospital- kept crashing) nearly 8a.m so better get to it !Gill

Awwwww, what a pretty green sight! The tree is amazing, as are the wee fowers in the fg. Aye, the Dochart has lovely parts. Here it is so peaceful...
Still working in Michaela's flat... as a result of buying furniture at Ikea. Smile
