...taken a few weeks back at Pollok House in Glasgow. The gardens have been getting a wonderful trim and they do keep it looking very tidy.

A rather unique composition, great crop which really emphasises the viewers focus point, extremely well defined detail, textures and tones.

The area around Pollok House is always well managed, Dougie: just wish the rest of the Park received the same attention.
The ferns show up nicely against where the ivy has been cut back.

Barbara I think it's probably ivy creepers not roots.

What a lovely patern of ivy on those old stones - and the ferns just add to the beauty of the place and image.
