A wonderful nip in the air arrived about 10 days ago and it feels wonderful to be out in the mornings.
A sign of a harsh winter to come..
Fabulous hot colour, beautifully isolated.

Green and red is always a good combination of colour. And the Rowan Tree is more or less symbolizing Scotland.
Oh Rowan Tree...
I wish you a good time up north, hope to see some lovely images, soon. ![]()
Take care my friend,
Johanna
Yes that's the story with the profusion of these berries, there's a nip in the air already and lets hope we get a good colourful Autumn this year without the fierce winds, and then some snow to dust the mountains. ![]()
Fingers crossed.
now they really are red.

enjoy your break
lots of berries around this year and good to see you photo superb colour and pin sharp
A profusion of Rowan berries is supposed to mean ahard, long winter. They are yet to appear here, but I feel they are are soon to be visible. The temperature was down 6c the other morning when I arose at 0530 (0430 UK time), and yes, there was a certain nip in the air, Dougie. Autumn is in full march.

A beautiful shot Dougie, have a great trip,
Derek
