Shieldaig looking east towards Torridon.
Beautiful composition with tree in foreground. Like it lots
Well done, beautiful landscape, love the blue skies reflecting off the water, and the mountains look so majestic in the background! Spot On! Click!!!
Beautiful picture. Might have looked even better with a little bit more of the foreground. Well done,
I was standing on a muddy bank, that's why the crop...
All the best
Nicely composed Dougie, a grand part of the world well captured.
Very nice composition, Dougie. The tree frames it very well.
Lovely composition, I love the warm light on the tree.
Great comp and arrangement
Excellent image Dougie.
Lovely shot. Great colour. I like the way the tree forms part of a natural frame.
fantastic colours & scenery *Click
I like the idea of the tree framing, Dougie, but I think it overwhelms the overall image a bit. Either moving in closer (too show less of the tree but achieving the same framing effect) or moving back to show the tree in context would strengthen the composition. I love the scene, and you've caught it in beautiful light as always.
All the best
Excellent color and sharpness...very nice =)
Beautiful shot, just love the comp with the tree coming over the top of ths shot, fantastic.
This is rather lovely me thinks. Love the composition with the tree framing the image and the mountains in the background. I took a similar photo on Saturday - Talybont Reservoir.
Lovely shot - excellent composition and tones - I particularly like the tree framing the mountains.
Thanks to all for the comments, it's all very rewarding, and nice to hear how others see your work.
All the best
Lighting of the tree well captured.
Don't know how I missed this one yesterday Dougie. It's a super shot, particularly the large version...everything is so clear.
Great shot Dougie. Like the sharpness and good dof. Thanks for your constructive comment on my upload. I appreciate it. I must confess I'm not that good at using PS yet. Have a good easter. click. John
I love this road - did you stop at the Applecross Inn at the end, or do the Pass of the Cattle?
(got my teatowel of Sheildaig). We had a cottage across Lower Loch Torridon on the estate there. Beautiful location apart from the raincloud that accompanied us for the week : (
Not this time Jeanie I am saving it for later in the year, I was trying to get to Torridon but was delayed at Shieldaig, by the fabulous scenery.
great shot, nicely framed
