...after a few days of high pressure some clouds bubbled up from the cold Cuilllin and blew across Loch Scavaig as the wind turned.
brilliant comp and tones dougie wonderful light a cracker nice one
Almost looks like the output from a volcano Dougie, well seen
'Volcano' was my initial reaction, too, seeing the cloud apparently streaming forth. Love the stretched composition and the striking mono.
Will get there sometime.......
Woolybill has said it for me.
Love your toning, it's coooooooooooooooooooooold!
Certainly looks quite volcanic, Dougie.
The Cuillin eruption !! Dougie.
A wonderfully dramatic sky Dougie
Scotland's vocano.......Mount Dougarrisi...Gosh Dougie I wonder what was going through your mind when you saw this .Magnificent.
Funny, my immediate reaction was the same as woolybill's, Dougie: looks like a volcano spewing out billowing matter.
A fabulous sky Dougie. I bet that wind was cold......Sandy
Gorgeous shot !!.......love that Skye sky !!!!!!!
You lucky lad! S-o-o-o envious of you living in such a photogenic location! What a FANTASTIC sky? Monochrome really works well for this one, I think. More, please?
Mono gives it a dramatic sense
Nothing brings out the drama of clouds as beautifully as a well converted B&W image; excellent Dougie!
A worthy sky for Lord's Day!
