Nice lead in with the fence. The grass also seems to have possibly tyre tracks following the fence lines. Is that cottage inhabited? Looks very remote. Moira

Recognised this straight away. The sense of place could scarcely be stronger: I can feel every breath of wind. Isolated but not desolate.

The long and winding fence. What is it keeping in? Or out?

I bet there's many a derelict property up in that area, Dougie: as others have said, you have used the fence as an effective line for the eye to follow.

Wonderfully desolate - it must have been a hard and lonely life. The old house makes a great composition tho Dougie and I love these old fences.

A very well observed an composed photograph Dougie, the fence takings ones hand and gently leading me into the heart of this wonderful setting. The cottage to the left adding a wonderful balance and much charm to the piece.

You couldn't have built that fence in a better position.

Still can't see its use.
Beautiful landscape image, the fence leads the eye to the cottage. Maybe that's its use in the end. Smile
