...a tiny figure in amongst the majesty of the Torridon mountains and loch.
A most beautiful Scottish vista, wonderfully composed and captured, the light is simply beautiful. "As for the photographer, I have yet to find him?"
Spectacular Dougie, you survived Hogmany
majestic thats for sure
wonderful image and yes I'm seeing him there on "the grassy knoll"
belated happy new year wishes
Beautiful clouds and light, super start for the year Dougie
I can see the smallest of dots on the promontory on the left and wonder whether that's him/her? Welcome back Dougie and best wishes for a happy, healthy 2013.
A beautiful image with exquisite light Dougie!
brilliant comp dougie wonderful colour and light a beauty nice one
Too tiny for my eyes, Dougie. I did ask Santa for a new pair but I don't think he heard me. But never fear: anything and everything would look minuscule in that glorious setting. The perfect place to feel alone and to glory in that superb sky.
Welcome back, Dougie, and a very Happy New Year to you!
I had to hunt for him but found him - I have an optician appointment this afternoon so that's a good sign.
Happy New Year, Dougie!
I think I see him, but then he could be a little tree. A beautiful image and great start to the year Dougie......Sandy
Combining your photography with 'Where's Wally' What a brilliant idea Dougie.
Seriously its a beautiful image and I think you have the exposure just about perfect. The stream leading into the Loch in the foreground provides interest through the reflections. Another cracker.
Now where is that bl**dy Wally?
This is really such a beautiful photo of this amazing scene !
Anyone we know? heh
Nice to see you back, Dougie, and with a superb landscape from the far north, composed so well as ever, and with wonderful clear light, beautiful reflections, etc.
Never been that far north but would love to get there one day.
And a belated happy New Year with hopefully loads more shots like this captured.
Wonderful light on the mountains. I assume the photographer is to the right of the tree which is on the left of the image - he/she seems to be taking in this fine view rather than crouching over a tripod!
just beautiful. christine
Glorious shot !!!!....great composition, nicely balanced with that tree on the left, & the lovely skyline of Bhen Alligin !!!!
Good shot Dougie...is the lone figure standing to the far left ?
No that's a tree Brian, he's just to the right of it...
Super image of such a beautiful spot, with lovely light.
Happy new year Dougie. May lang yer rum leak...
A super image with a man watering the tree. It will either grow or be dead by this time next year. So pleased you are back with us.
Gorgeous shapes, light and tones Dougie; wonderful image!
What a great day to be out and about in such a landscape!
Beautifully captured the majestic sights of the Torridon mountains. Need to go there, soon!
Beautifully captured image, Dougie and a great beginning to 2013.
Very serene and beautiful Dougie
a great landscape
A great sense of scale and a beautiful scenery for both you and him/her
Gorgeous capture! Regards.
I can't find the photographer Dougie, not that he matters, if he were any good he'd be set up right beside you getting the perfect shot!
PS. Loch Maree and Slioch?
Jim not sure what the question is about Loch Maree and Slioch.
This is Loch Torridon and the mountains are Beinn Alligin and to the right it's Liathach.
Beautifully composed Dougie, that little pool of blue in the foreground really brings the picture together
