The road to Elgol on the Isle of Skye is being resurfaced. Having to wait for 20 or so minutes I took a few shots in the best traffic jam I can imagine. The reeds at one of my favourite spots, Loch Cill Chriosd.

Has to be seen large to be fully appreciated IMHO I like what you have captured here the motion is settling.

Douglas, I noted your comment about this image on your most recent upload. There is nothing "wrong" with it - the trouble is that it suffers from the infamous "thumbnail condition". Unlike most of your other images, it doesn't jump out from the gallery and bite the viewer. This has so many qualities, particularly the way you've captured the complementary movement of the reeds and waves on the water, but they're lost in the thumbnail version. Put this image in a double spread of a magazine, and it would get the attention it deserves.
