...the sand here is two colours and gives wonderful patterns where the wind has blown across the sea and sand. The sky was heavy with rain clouds that passed me by with just a few specks on my windscreen as I drove down the side of Luskentyre.

A beautiful coastal capture, I particularly like the patterns in the wind swept dunes...

Very beautiful, Dougie, wonderful shapes in the sand that seem to me to be faintly echoed in the sky. Your signature touch.

Fine shot of the shifting sands and sea grasses: that's interesting about the different sand colours.

There were a few barefoot walkers Barbara doing just that.

Before reading the last exchange I had been going to say "- - and not a footprint in sight". But I expect the walkers were light-footed.
Looks gloriously unpopulated, just the sand and the wind crafting wonderful shapes between them.

When life is just too busy and you need to get away, what a wonderful place to go to. The wind has made the sand look like it's been raked. Beautiful image Dougie.

Reminds me of the grass and sand at Gullane here Dougie.
And I still hear arguments in the pub about the ''correct'' pronounciation of the place !!

Beautiful shapes in the dunes and wonderful paterns in the sand. I like the grass as well. Shall I admit that I envy you? No. I don't, but I would have liked to see this myself in real. Well... maybe some day...
