...an artist takes a break in a newly cut field near Kingsbarnes, Fife.
Really like this Dougie. Well observed and taken moment
I have often sat like this looking at a scene, wondering how to capture it in the best composition, or waiting for the light to change or improve: patience usually pays off in the end, Dougie.
Well seen and captured Dougie, good title too.
I love candid shots like this and I love the fact that you have incredible scenery and light as well as a great subject - the whole thing really tells a story. Jude
Fabulous image. LOVE IT !Pity he missed our poppies . Just back from hosp.now away to relax amongst some sweetpeas .....have a wee look at my upload ! Gill
Looks like he's given up
The stacks were all in front of him the clouds all behind him, he was waiting for them both to come together.
Thanks for the comment. always welcome.
I really like this Dougie - it's a very beautiful picture of life and has a serene feel to it. It's that feeling of patience, I think!
Great image. Love the equipment on top of the straw bale.
Plenty to inspire him here by the looks of it. Right now I wish I was in that field sitting against the bale. Really like this shot. Moira
Lazy so and so.could he not have got on with the job instead of waiting for the two to come together...artist eh just what are they like.
well seen and capture Dougie.
have a good weekend
superb candid shot one I would have liked to have taken
Love it. Total inertia, I have days like that. Well weeks...
He borrowed your hat Dougie I think. Now he's resting and getting inspired, maybe dreaming of what he will paint. A great candid shot............Sandy
Love the mood and the patience of this shot, guess we can all relate to it!
I do hope that he got inspiriation, a great capture of artistery
Missed this one !.....lovely shot !.....certainly different, but very effective with a great composition, & colour.....1st class !
Cheers Bill for a bit, I was a worried it wouldn't even make 30, now it gets your user award.
Many thanks my friend
Sorry not to have commented on this earlier, Dougie, I slipped it into my shortlist and promptly forgot - - -
This image is just so right: a gentle candid in quietly beautiful surroundings, it achieves so much more than the mere depiction of place. Delicious.
Oh, I love it! Nothing more frustrating than being ready for it, but no inspiration coming your way... I know the feeling.
Well seen Dougie. At least he had the courage to paint outdoors.
