I just love the texture of the branches! The gentle switch of the backdrop as the snowy ridge rises is very pleasing.

There are few things as beautiful as sunlight on a winter tree. The colour and mono are very different images. Personally I preferthe colour version Dougie.

I did try a higher contrast and the trees blew a little, just like your mod but that's from a lower res image.
I'm staying with the colour Alan, but thanks for the effort my friend.

Lovely light on these trees.
Sorry for having been away so long - but I'm up to my head in work at the moment. Have to clear my mum's house, because our youngest wants to move in. In addition I remodeled our own house, the terrace is in work, the garden in shambles. I am knackered every evening, at the moment I can't even sleep, because every single bone in my body is hurting and every muscle cramps as soon as I turn into another position. Should slow down, but can't. Sad
