Beautiful image. Wonderful colour and tone, and the detail is excellent. I have a 50d, and have a sigma 10-20 on order, am very much looking forward to playing with it. Thanks for the filter info as well, I am also looking into working with filters so it's great to know what people are using who are taking the sort of images I would like to work towards. Great.

Nice one Paul. Tell me, is the two to eight stop nd filter the Singh ray one? Cus I recently bought it. Didn't reckon for the £53 import tax though. Ouch. Lucky it's a great filter.

There's plenty of detail in those rocks and a lovely colourful shot too. Beautifully taken and processed.

Beautiful image and sublime detail in the rocks. The way the large opens on my pc cuts off the top of the frame - I think a squer crop gives more emphasis to the rocks which, I think, works a bit better than the portrait format.

The processing here is up to the quality of the image and makes the detail so real, you feel you can reach in and touch the rocks, superb work my friend, worthy of an award.
