Took the dog for a walk along the dike last Wednesday. The light was very dull, but maybe you'll like this simple landscape in muted colours.

A fine simple composition....allows the mind to wander off into space.

Love the way you've filled the frame with these simple elements. Great take and presentation of this BIG space.

Three very different textures that work well together, simple shot but very effective, the path leading you into the picture

Muted colours and strong segmented shapes with one vanishing point. A nicely balanced composition, Rende.

Varying shades of gray on this long view-- a great sense of depth here!

Wonderful triangular diagonals Rende then painted with the most subtle of colour.

One for the wall I feel.

I can find nothing on site to beat this great image so here's my Wee Tree.

it's almost more of a geometric than a landscape - another with super vanishing point. I've always wondered what those dikes in Holland look like - similar to the area in my town where the dam is built up.

The slight gold like colour on the stones is pretty.

I admit to missing your typical colours though Rende, and I think a high contrast mono would suti this one to a "t".

Minimum is good Rende - such a desolate vista.
