Mono conversion of Tuesdays upload ... isn't it good to be back??
Feel free to leave a comment if you wish, cheers for dropping by.
Stunning mono, I like the atmosphere
I like the low angle and the B&Light works well.
On the whole me and BW landscapes just don't see eye to eye although I am trying to educate my uncouth photographic tendencies. Strong composition, good sky and a pleasing range of textures. I find the bottom left quarter a tad dark though.
Cheers folks and fair comment about the BL Dave ... I reckon you're too used to working with HDR
HDR? Never heard of it Paul ..... lol
Great conversion, but I like the colour version best.
Great conversion Paul
Fab mono. Liked the colour version, but the conversion has created a really dramatic image. Good one!
Great shot. Love the mono version.
Fantastic! - Jeff
I think I prefer this of this whole set Paul, it's suits the mono conversion so well with all the darr and light areas, the whole point of mono is to be different from the colour version. The light striking across the image is so perfect for monochrome.
I'd love to see this printed by a real mono printer onto real mono paper in a darkroom, wow! how good this would look.
All the very best and congrats on such a great B/W image,
Stunning mono shot, great work
Excellent mono prefer this one.
Cracking conversion Paul.
I can see Dave's point about the BL, but I think the TR balances the image quite well. IMO
This works great in mono. I love the low perspective.
Great conversion, was having withdrawal symtoms ! Glad to be back in the family Paul. Ron.
Have No30 and the RC Paul, stunning
Great work Paul
cool, this works a treat, nice work Paul. I may try a mono myself tonight.
See you soon
I like this a lot. Every aspect is of a high quality IMO. Super stuff.
Fantastic work Paul, but then do you do anything else but?!......
I've had withdrawl symptems.,.. not only has EPZ been down, but internet at home has been more off than on recently. This is an excellent conversion Paul, Its given me an incentive to try a few.
Excellent again Paul.
Mono works just a good as the colour version paul, stunning work again,,
Spot on me old china
Less of the old Chris
Cheers everyone, sorry for the 'silence' but I've been in a meeting most of the afternoon so this is my first chance back on-line!!!
Happy to see so many of you who like this one ... I'm off in a mo to go and have a look around
Cheers too Dougie, just noticed
nice work paul
Tis a belter, MrS, looked good when you were working on it
Cheers you two
Think I preferred the colour but the tones are superb in this nonetheless!
Cheers Paul for your time!!!
An excellent mono conversion Paul, think I prefer it to the colour.
Thanks Darren, not sure if I do or not ... oh, the dilemma ... stuff it, I'll just print them both
Quote: I'll just print them both
With a view to putting them WHERE, exactly ???
... errmmmmmmmm??????? x
b&w is better. Excellent work.
Conversion does indeed stand up well on it's own
