Certainly an ''abstract'' shot.
Did they have LB's back in the 70's ?
I recall seeing a lot of abstract shots like this then !!

This is certainly giving it full throttle, Bill. Woluld never have guessed what this object was. Very film noir, and it does look like a still (as in static image, not as in illicit booze making machinery) from a horror movie.
