Leading to the old stock yard at Tanfield Railway.
Excellent in B & W
looked good from the thumbnail..very attractive high contrast foreground
This is an excellent photo !
Excellent geometry, Bill, and dynamic with the strong diagonal orientation.
Perfect for B/W it looks a very old shot that's down to your skill Bill, love the lines, great DOF. good tones.
Wonderful work here Bill.
It reminds me of my early teens when steam traction was in rapid decline. My friends father was a foreman of a steam depot and we were both train spotters at that time.
We were allowed to walk around the depot on Sunday mornings and I can remember my mates father shouting, "look before you cross any track!"
Love the tones and pov!
Great composition and DOF, powerful mono.
Great composition and like the processing.
Good toning and pov......Sandy
That is a very complex switching yard. It must have kept many a brakeman busy.

Agreed with John.
Ohhh...the tracks have turned out sooo well in this, Bill. Wonderful light on them I like the processing.
Lovely rich tonality.
Lines all over the place here! An excellent composition, Bill - could only work in mono
good one Bill with those contrasts working well.
There is a certain fascination about trains and railway lines which make for great images such as this
On the right Track with this one Bill, great piece of 'Mono' Rail.
I do like this. Convergence...conversion.... All good.
Nice, low POV, Bill.
Great image. Ann.
Shapes to die for.........
P.S. Your Highness, may I say how greatful I am for your UA! Big THANK YOU, Bill!
A superb compo
A great mono giving it an aged look. Love the lines, pardon the pun, they are so disorderly in order.
Excellent monochrome and and excellent POV. The tracks seem 3D and the bokeh is quite unusual from this short tele. An image I'm sure that most of us would like in our own portfolio Bill. My Wee Tree in appreciation.
