Loughrigg Tarn. Dawn this time and I am wading around in my wellies looking for a composition and a focal point. Not as successfully as I would have liked to be honest. This is often the case when you dont really know the location and the best light is slipping away. Still I like the colour and the reeds in the foreground.

I think this is a sublime image Derek, no doubts or maybes about it. Lovely delicate colour and wonderful detail from this lake which is a gem I visited just once but never in light this good.

Dougie

I'll put my award where my mouth is Derek, quality job here.

Really good composition anyway and a nice bit of mist to enhance the mood.

Nice image mate, exactly what I am finding out! I am really struggling with decent light (no clouds to be seen) and not knowing the area makes comps really difficult also!

Good effort!

Tim

God on you for being up there at that time. Best light conditions and you have to work fast sometimes. Good fg interest using the reeds and reflection. Nice job. Paul
